When I opened my first practice in France in 2013, I had just completed my studies in Hypnosis Training Program and Traditional Chinese Medicine. It was important to me to personally experience each tool I learned, so I scheduled sessions with my hypnosis teacher to work on myself.

At that time, I was puzzled by the lack of memories of my father before I turned 4 years old (I’m happy to share this story if you’re interested). Eager to uncover what my subconscious was hiding, I found myself in a hypnotic trance during a session with my teacher. Given my training, where clients retain control during hypnosis, I was surprised when I exclaimed, “Christian, wait a minute, something unusual is happening!” It was indeed unusual — I sensed a “shining guy” beside me, excitedly urging me to hurry because we had been waiting a long time to start our journey together.

Initially shocked yet strangely unsurprised, I shared this experience with Christian, who reassured me and encouraged me to explore further. Thus began my encounter with Joris, my higher guide, marking an incredible beginning.

In the following months, my psychic abilities flourished rapidly. I grappled with visions, vivid dreams, conversations with departed souls, and unexpected insights into my clients’ lives. Having recently recovered from burnout, which prompted significant life changes, I continued monthly psychiatric check-ins.

Eventually, I mustered the courage to ask my psychiatrist if I might be developing schizophrenia. He laughed heartily, affirming our longstanding professional relationship and expressing curiosity about my experiences. His reassurance — “You’re not mentally ill; I’m intrigued by your abilities!” — affirmed my journey.

Another pivotal moment occurred in my office during a slow first month of practice. Despite the lack of scheduled clients, I maintained positive energy, refining my business strategies and offerings daily. A friend called, asking to meet for tea nearby. I invited her to my office instead.

As we chatted over tea, she asked about my relationship with intuition and if recent experiences had frightened me. Without hesitation, I replied, “I’m at peace with it now, no longer afraid.”

Within five minutes of our conversation ending, my phone rang with appointment requests — eight in just 15 minutes, after three weeks of silence.

What I learned from these experiences is profound: YOU are the key. You bridge intuition with strategy.

Reflecting on what set that moment apart, it was my unwavering certainty. I believed in my path, my abilities, and the outcomes, despite the challenges (psychic visions, leaving a secure job as a single mother to a toddler).

However, having psychic gifts and guidance isn’t enough for business success. Even with a strong spiritual connection, you must do the work.

Focus on personal growth, release fears and limiting beliefs, and implement aligned, possibly inspired actions.

The universe won’t magically bring clients to you; you meet halfway, extending your hand for its support.
